He Zi

He Zi (何姿)is a diver on the Chinese national team. She has long been regarded as the successor to China’s “Princess of Diving” Guo Jingjing, and has a host of world diving titles to her name. In 2012, she won the women’s doubles and singles titles in the 3-meter springboard at the 18th FINA World Cup and gold in the women’s doubles in the 3-meter springboard with Wu Minxia at the London Olympics

He was born in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on December 11, 1990. She started diving training at the age of 6 at Nanning Sports School. She joined the Tsinghua University Diving Team in 2000 and joined the National Diving Team in 2006.

In 2006:

Women’s doubles and singles second place in the 3-meter springboard at the Asian Games in Doha. 

In 2007:

Women’s singles champion in the 1-meter springboard at the World Championships in Melbourne.   In 2009:

Women’s doubles champion and singles second place in the 3-meter springboard in the FINA Diving Series in Doha.

Women’s doubles champion and singles second place in the 3-meter springboard in the FINA Diving Series in Changzhou.

Women’s doubles and singles champion in the 3-meter springboard in the FINA Diving Series in Sheffield.

Women’s doubles and singles champion in the 3-meter springboard in the FINA Diving Series in Mexico.

Women’s singles champion in the 1-meter springboard at the 11th National Games.

Women’s singles champion in the 3-meter springboard in the China Diving Star Series.

In 2010:

Women’s singles champion in the 3-meter springboard at the 17th FINA World Cup.   

In 2011:

Women’s doubles champion in the 3-meter springboard in the FINA Diving Series in Beijing.    Women's double champion and singles second place in the 3-meter springboard at the 14th World Championships in Shanghai.

Women’s doubles and singles champion in the 3-meter springboard at the FINA Diving Series in Sheffield.   

Women’s doubles and singles champion in the 3-meter springboard at the National Championships (which were also the trials for the London Olympics).   Women’s doubles champion in the 3-meter springboard in the 2011-2012 China Diving Star Series in Wuhan.    Women’s singles champion in the 3-meter springboard in the 2011-2012 China Diving Star Series in Changzhou.
