Han Qide
Born in July 1945, ethnic Han, a native of Cixi of Zhejiang Province; member of China Jiu San (September 3) Society and member of Communist Party of China (CPC); started working in December 1968; graduate of Xi'an Medical College; master of medicine, professor, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Vice-chairman of Standing Committee of 11th NPC, chairman of Central Committee of China Jiu San (September 3) Society, chairman of China Association for Science and Technology, and dean of Medical School of Peking University .
1962-1968 Studied at Department of Medicine of Shanghai No. 1 Medical College
1968-1979 Worked as physician at several hospitals in Lintong County, Shaanxi Province
1979-1982 Postgraduate studies at Xi'an Medical College
1982-1985 Worked as an instructor at the pathological and physiological teaching and research section of Beijing Medical College
1985-1987 Studied in Emory School of Medicine, Emory University in the United States
