Gong Jinjie (宫金杰)

Gong Jinjie (宫金杰) is a professional racing cyclist. She won the 500m time trial at the 26th Universiade on Aug. 16, 2011, with a time of 34.910 seconds.

Born on November 12, 1986 in Dongfeng, Jilin Province, Gong Jinjie became a member of the provincial Jilin Team in 2002 and joined the Chinese National Team in 2005. Her coaches include Wang Yongqing and Sean Eadie.

Her major achievements:

2006: The national track cycling championships First Stop (Ri Zhao, Shandong province), 500m time trial and Pursuit Women champion

2006: Asian Championships (Malaysia), 500m time trial and 200m Pursuit Women champion and won women's keirin World Cup champion

2006: The 15th Asian games (Doha), 200m Pursuit Women second place

2010-2011 Cycling World Cup in Melbourne, Team Pursuit Women champion (partenered with Guo Shuang)

2011: Asian Cycling Championships (Thailand), Team sprint first (partnered with Lin Junhong )and Keirin Women third place

2011: 26th Universiade (Shenzhen), time trial (500m) Women champion, with a time of 34.910 seconds.

2011-2012 Cycling World Cup in UK, Team sprint third place
