Fu Mingxia

Fu Mingxia (伏明霞) was only 14 years old when she won the platform gold medal at the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992. She was the youngest champion in Olympic history.

At the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996, Fu took both gold medals in the platform and springboard events, thus becoming the second athlete after Gao Min to defend her Olympic championship in the platform event. This is also a world record.

Fu won her second Olympic gold in the springboard event at the 27th Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000.

She married to Hong Kong financier Antony Leung Kam Chung with a daughter and two sons.
