Dong Dong (董栋)

Dong Dong (董栋) is a Chinese trampoline gymnast, and won the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympic Games and the bronze at the 2008 Beijing Olympics Games.

Born on April 13, 1989 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, Dong started gymnastic training at the age of five. He switched to trampoline in 2002 and demonstrated his remarkable talent in this event after less than two years of training. He was recruited by the Chinese national team in early 2005 and made his international debut in 2006. He won his first individual champion title at World Cup Canada in 2007.
