Dai Sicong was a famous pop music educator in Hong Kong. He had taught many well-known Hong Kong pop stars, including, Zhang Minmin, Andy Lau, Leon Lai and Faye Wong. He moved from China’s mainland to Hong Kong in 1960s and later studied music in Japan. He died of heart attack on the morning of July 18 in Hong Kong at age of 69. According to Xinhua News Agency, Dai was admitted to a hospital on July 17 following a sudden coronary heart disease and its complications.
