The Chinese Museum of Women and Children (Chinese: 中国妇女儿童博物馆), the first national museum on the social changes concerning women and children, opened to the public on January 10, 2010 in Beijing.
The museum covers an area of 35,000 square meters and comprises 11 exhibition halls containing more than 30,000 exhibits depicting ancient, modern and contemporary women, celebrating international friendship and women's art, and showing changes and contrasts through the ages in women's apparel. Museum exhibits also include children in ancient, modern and contemporary times, their toys and pastimes.
