The Chinese Museum of Women and Children, the first national museum on the social changes concerning women and children, opened to the public on January 10, 2010 in Beijing.

The museum covers an area of 35,000 square meters and comprises 11 exhibition halls containing more than 30,000 exhibits depicting ancient, modern and contemporary women, celebrating international friendship and women's art, and showing changes and contrasts through the ages in women's apparel.
