Meng Jianzhu (孟建柱), born in July 1947, is a male ethnic Han from Wuxian County, Jiangsu Province. He entered the workforce in August 1968 and joined the CPC in June 1971. He graduated from the Shanghai Institute of Machinery with a major in systems engineering, received a postgraduate education while in service and was awarded the degree of Master of Engineering.
