1981: Fei Xiaotong won the Huxley Memorial Medal.

1998: China Insurance Regulatory Commission was set up.

2001: The Chinese Medical Association announced that Chinese scientists had successfully cultured stem cells into gastric and duodenal mucosa externally, which signified new possibilities in recuperating from injured gastric and duodenal mucosa.
