Baishanzu Nature Reserve

Located in Baishanzu Township, Qingyuan County, the Baishanzu National Nature Reserve boasts a wide range of bioresources and diverse vegetation. These plus its peculiar geographical environment and complicated landforms form its unique natural scenery. There are a dozen or so scenic areas, with a tourist lodge and an ecological tour center in its hinterland. It still maintains large tracts of primitive forest ecosystems and large quantities of wild biospecies. Among these is the "Baishanzu fir," a tree native to Baishanzu and listed by an international committee for species protection as one of 12 critically endangered plants.
