Apakhoja Mausoleum, commonly known as Hoja Tombs, is actually the burial site of the Apakhoja family. Apakhoja was the head of the Aktag Sect of Islam in southern Xinjiang. Built in 1640, the mausoleum is located 5 km east of Kashi City.

Composed of a big mosque and a small one, a lecture hall and a gateway, the mausoleum itself is the main structure, within which are 72 tombs of different sizes. Covered with glazed tiles, the 26-m-high building has a domed ceiling supported by four columns at four corners. In unique Islamic architectural style, the mosque has also absorbed artistic features from the Taj Mahal in India. It is listed a key relic site under protection.
