Jinshantun Orthodox Church
Jinshantun Orthodox Church, a Russian woodcarving, prism-shaped building with an area of 82.8 m2, is located in Jinfeng Agricultural Production Brigade of Jinshantun District, on the east side of the road to the south of Jinshantun. In the early 1930s, White Russians built this church and named it the Orthodox Church for short.
The Orthodox Church points southward with a broad west end and a narrow east end. The building edge is herringbone in shape and completely covered with wooden boards, and the eaves are of an inverted, three step shape. It is architecture in a typical European style. According to those who lived here in the late 1940s, it was a prosperous place where White Russians from both near and far prayed and discussed official business. In 1982, having been surveyed and authenticated by the Provincial Department of Historical Relics Management, the Orthodox Church was listed as a major historical relic to be protected at provincial level..
