The construction of the avenue was completed in 1925 following the design by a Russian engineer. It is 21.34 m wide and 1,450 m long. The road surface is paved with granite stone slates 18 sq cm in size and 30 cm in thickness. The Central Avenue is an showcase of European-style buildings in 18th and 19th centuries.
