Longhu Mountain, 16 km south of Yingtan City, is a Daoist holy place. Apart from its 99 red stone peaks and 24 huge rocks as well as its 108 natural and cultural spots, its mystery of cliff-face tombs holds a great appeal to visitors. These tombs are said to be the tombs of ancient Yue people, dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). But, no one knows who were in them or how the coffins were pulled half way up into the caves on the sheer cliffs.
