Tian Qing (田卿)

Tian Qing (田卿), born in Anhua, Hunan Province on Aug. 5, 1986 is a Chinese badminton player who won gold in the women's doubles at the 2012 London Olympic Games with her partner, Zhao Yunlei.

Tian is a right-handed player whose greatest successes have come in doubles matches. She started playing badminton aged 7 and entered the Hunan Sports School aged 12. She joined the National Badminton Team's second team in 2004 and gained a place on the first team in 2006. Tian's assertiveness and aggression on the badminton court are in contrast to her quiet off-court persona.

German Open – runner-up in the women's doubles competition (with Pan Pan);

China Open – champion in the women's doubles competition (with Zhang Yawen);

2010:

Guangzhou Asian Games – champion in the women's doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei);

2011:

Asian Badminton Championships – runner-up in the women's doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei);

London Badminton World Championships – runner-up in the women's doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei);

2012:

All England Open – champion in the women's doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei);

Asian Badminton Championships – champion in the women's doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei);

London Olympic Games – champion in the women's doubles competition (with Zhao Yunlei).
