Cai Wu (蔡武), Minister of Culture
Cai Wu, ethnic Han, a native of Longnan in Ganshu Province, was born in October 1949 and joined the CPC in January 1973. He has a Doctorate degree in law.
Sep. 1978: Student and later lecturer in the International Politics Department of Peking University.
July 1983: Director of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) Central Committee; Member of the CYLC Central Committee; Member of the Standing Committee of the CYLC Central Committee; Member of the All-China Youth Federation; Member of the Standing Committee of the All-China Youth Federation; Deputy Secretary-General of the All-China Youth Federation.
Mar. 1995: Director of the Research Office of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.
