Located in the Northwest of Zhaitang Town, Mentougou District in Beijing, Lingshui Village has over 1,000 years of history. It reached its peak during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It now contains over 300 families and more than 2,000 people; most people are surnamed Tan and Liu. The village is famous for its ancient trees and plants, dappled bricks and tiles, ancient pillars and temples. Lingshui Village is not only famous for its natural environment, but also noted for its distinguished talents.
