The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) of the Communist Party of China (CPC) (中国共产党中央纪律检查委员会) is an anti-corruption monitoring institution within the CPC.
Established in Jan. 4th, 1979, the commission passed a set of disciplines and rules regulating political life within the party,including, "the Regulations of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection on Work Tasks", "Authority Spheres and Structure Establishment" and "the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection First Plenary Session Announcement".
The commission vowed to "keep ringing alarm bells against corruption" as it is a "prolonged, complicated and arduous" fight at the 18th National Congress of CPC, according to a report by Xinhua News Agency.
The incumbent secretary of the CCDI is Wang Qishan, who is concurrently on the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
