The Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA; Chinese: 两岸经济合作架构协议) is a proposed agreement between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan which is still under negotiation. The ECFA is intended to make systematic arrangements to normalize mainland-Taiwan economic ties and bring the economies of both sides closer.
