Gao Min (高敏) twice won the women's springboard diving event, first at the 24th Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 and then at the 25th Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 to become the first Chinese female athlete to defend her Olympic Championship in Chinese Olympic history.
