Chinese Woodcarving Park was built in the year of 2002. It lies on the west of the Huayuan Road, Yichun, Heilongjiang Province, covering an area of 8800 square meters and neighboring the Stone Garden. All the carvings in the garden are made of woods and show good taste and natural style. The garden is divided into four parts: the Archway Zone, the Porch of Wood Carvings, the Central Viewing Zone, and the Leisure and Recreation Zone. All the sculptures combine concrete images and abstract concepts; some are carved in high relief while some in low relief. It embodies traditional Chinese culture and new concepts of modern design, conveying the theme of eternal life.
