'''Zhang Jike''' ('''张继科''') is a top player of Chinese national table tennis team. He won the team title at the 51st World Table Tennis Championships in Germany in 2012.

Zhang was born on Feb. 16,1988 in Qingdao, [[Shandong Province]]. At the tender age of five, his father started teaching him how to play. In 2000, Zhang was recruited by the Shandong Luneng Table Tennis Team and from there he went on to become a national team member in Jan. 2003. In 2008 Zhang Jike and Wang Hao won the China National Table Tennis Championship men’s doubles title as members of the Bayi Team. In addition, Zhang himself eventually won the men's singles title as well after beating three Olympic champions -- Ma Lin, Wang Liqin and Wang Hao. On May 15, 2011, Zhang Jike defeated defending champion Wang Hao, the world's No.1 table tennis player, 4 to 2 during the men’s singles final of the World Table Tennis Championships. This also meant Zhang’s first-ever World Championships men’s singles title. On Nov. 13, 2011, he beat his teammate Wang Hao once more, again with a score of 4 to 2, during the Men's Table Tennis World Cup, earning him his first World Cup Championships title. He is also the champion of the 2012 World Team Table Tennis Championships.
