New page

Located in east Guiyang, Wenchang Pavilion is a cultural heritage under protection of the provincial government. It was built in 1609 in the Ming Dynasty and reconstructed in 1669 in the Qing Dynasty. A three-storey building under a three-eave roof with nine irregular edges, it is a structure typical of the local architectural style. The windows and doors of the structure are decorated by delicate carvings, colorful drawings, and gently raised eaves in a grey tone.
