It was signed at the Sino-Russian leadership meeting on [[September 3]], [[1994]], in Moscow. The 55 km long Sino-Russian western boundary was set between the [[Xinjiang]] Uygur Autonomous Regions of China and the Altai Republic of Russia, according to the agreement.<br />
