Located on [[Elephant Hill]] west of [[Yuexiu Park]] in [[Guangzhou]], the '''Mausoleum of King Wen of Nanyue''' was discovered in 1983. Nanyue's capital was Guangzhou, then called Panyu, and it was contemporary with the late [[Western Han Dynasty]] (206BC-25AD). The mausoleum has now turned into a museum, and it is a key national cultural preservation site.

The body of the king was dressed in a suit made of pieces of jade sewn together with silk. A gold seal inscribed with the words "King Wen" and a jade stamp inscribed with the words "Zhao Mei" (the king's name) were discovered in addition to over 1,000 other burial objects in the tomb.
