'''Huangcheng Village''' was once called "Zhongdaozhuang Village". The most famous architecture is the House of the Chancellor in Huangcheng, which is the home of [[Chen Tingjing]], who was the prominent prime minister of [[Emperor Kangxi]] of the [[Qing Dynasty]] and the editor-in-chief of the [[Dictionary Kangxi Zidian]]. [[Emperor Qianlong]] of Qing Dynasty called the village "the Castle and Mansion of the Prime Minister" (Huangcheng Xiangfu). It has over 500 years of history, combining officer's dwelling place, ancient homes of literary men and folk houses.
