Initiated by the [[China Federation of Literature and Art Circles]] and the [[China Filmmaker Association]] in 1992, the event is regarded as one of the four biggest film festivals, along with the [[Changchun Film Festival]], [[the Shanghai International Film Festival]] and [[the Zhuhai Film Festival]]. <br /> <br /> Recently, the 19th Golden Rooster and Full Blossom Film Festival wrapped up in Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province. [[Chen Kun]] and [[Vicky Zhao]] won the best leading actor and actress, and “The Founding of the Republic” was awarded with the Best Feature Film. [[Feng Xiaogang]] won the Best Director for his comedy “If You Are the One,” and[[ Alec Su]] won the Best Supporting Actor for the espionage film “The Message.” <br /> <br /> Although Jiangyin received 50-million yuan in sponsorships to build and renovate its facilities, the festival is less eye-catching than in previous years.
