Officially opened on July 5th, China Maritime Museum is the biggest maritime museum in the country. Located at Lingang New City in Shanghai, the museum takes a land area of 25,000 square meters and has a floor area of 46,000 square meters. The museum has three floors displayed with different exhibitions.

On the first floor, there are old ocean vessels and ships to demonstrate the maritime history of the country. On the second floor, there are modern maritime facilities, ports and recreational sports and activities. Besides, there are 4D theaters, astronomic exhibition hall and children’s activity center.
