New page

On [[August 6]], 2007, five Chinese airlines jointly launched China's first express air service between [[Beijing Capital International Airport]] and [[Shanghai Hongqiao Airport]]. Flights between the two cities arrive and depart every 30 minutes. The five airlines involved are [[China Eastern Airlines]], [[Air China]], [[China Southern Airlines]], [[Hainan Airlines]] and [[Shanghai Airlines]]; they provide travelers with quicker check-ins, security checks, boarding and luggage collection through designated passages.

The express air service, initiated by the [[Civil Aviation Administration of China]], allows travelers to change tickets for other flights among the five domestic airlines as long as they have not gone through the boarding procedure. The CAAC also ensures a maximum three-hour journey from check-in to baggage claim. The Beijing Capital International Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport have set aside exclusive counters for the service.
