'''The Annual Government Work Report''' ('''政府工作报告''') is delivered by the incumbent government leader at the annual sessions of the [[NPC]] and [[CPPCC]]. <br />

The report is usually drafted by the General Office of the [[State Council]] and the provincial (municipal, autonomous regional, special administrative), city and district governments. <br />
<br />
It generally consists of four parts: <br />
<br />
* the conclusion of the government's work in the past year; <br />
* the outlook of the government's work for the current year; <br />
* the government's performance; and<br />
* an evaluation of diplomatic relations, the Five-Year Plan and an explanation of new terms from the report. <br />
<br />
The [[NPC]] and [[CPPCC]] members divide into groups to discuss the report after it has been delivered in the conferences.<br />
